The company recently passed the Inspection of Contractors Conformity (ICC) conducted by Bureau Veritas (Kenya) on behalf of TOTAL Tanzania Limited — confirming conformity with HSE requirements for oil and gas industries.

Managing Director
Gilbert is an Electrical Engineer, registered Professional Engineer by the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) of Tanzania, graduated from the University of Dar es Salaam. He holds an MSc in Engineering Management from the same university. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI) of the United States and a PMI member. Gilbert is registered by EWURA as a Class A contractor and is a certified infrared thermographer by the Infrared Training Center (ITC) of the United States.
Gilbert has more than 18 years of experience in power generation projects. He has been involved in over 10 power generation projects in Tanzania, Nigeria and Cameroon with multinational companies including Wartsila (Finland), Jacobsen (Norway) and Symbion Power LLC (USA). Among these, Eng. Gilbert served as Operations Manager of Symbion Power Tanzania Ltd, managing two rental power plants: 55MWe in Dodoma and 50MWe in Arusha.
Prior to that, he was Instrumentation and Automation Engineer at Barrick Gold Corporation’s Bulyankhulu Gold Mine in North West Tanzania. He also served as Project Manager for rural electrification in Simiyu Region — constructing 100km of 33KV transmission line, 20km of 400V line, commissioning 25 transformers, and connecting over 500 customers.
For several years, Gilbert has conducted annual electrical audits for oil and gas depots of TOTAL Tanzania, PUMA Energy Tanzania Limited and ORYX Gas Tanzania Limited.
