One of the measures to achieve this is to expand electricity connectivity to an additional 8.3 million households by 2030, raising the national electricity connectivity rate from 46 percent in 2022 to 75 percent in 2030.

Oil Mist Separators are used for reducing emissions from crankcase gases. It reduces up to 99.9% of oil from crankcase oil by separating it from gases and circulate back to engine sump and used again for engine lubrication. If not separated from crankcase gases, this oil will cause oil emission to the environment. 45MW Tegeta Plant, owned by TANESCO has 5 generating sets which produce 45 MW, these separators will be installed in all five genering sets.
